BSM M2 Available in SOCAL

Hey guys been a long time member and reader of our forums even though my post count is a little low. Anyways back on point, I work in Valencia BMW and the second M2 we got which was allocated to a customer had the deal fall through.

So there's a 2016 BSM M2 with Executive Package and DCT available for sale at 5k over MSRP if any one is interested please let me know.

My name is Keanu and you can reach me at 747-777-0380.

Ok guys so I have some great news, I was talking to my manager and I explained our concerns about being 5k over MSRP. I managed to convince him to offer any bimmerpost member (member for at least a year) who purchases the car through me, 1k off the markup.

So just to be clear, if you are a bimmerpost member and go through me for the purchase of the BSM M2 with Executive Package and DCT we will charge only a 4k markup which is currently the lowest on the naughty list, and this is for a M2 that is ready to be driven off the lot today.

A $5k discount would interest a lot of people.

Unfortunately at the moment that's the 'market adjustment' we have on the car. I know almost everyone here would not want to pay over MSRP and feel that its not a fair deal. I was debating even putting this up here for that exact reason. However, I also know there are a lot of us waiting for M2 allocations and maybe willing to pay a bit more to get a BSM that is actually available to drive home today.

The only reason i put this on here is because I would rather one of us from this forum get the opportunity to get car if they really wanted it rather than a non forum member.I don't set the prices just wanted this forum to get a shot at getting a BSM M2 today if anyone did want it.

So again guys didn't want to get off on the wrong foot, this is purely informational.

Great deal. Considering most have to wait months to get a car I think $5K over is a fair market value.

Thank you Powerbeast for understanding. The only reason I posted is to give someone on these forums the opportunity to get one right now if they didn't mind paying a markup(lower than most other dealers on the list) to drive off in one now instead of waiting months. Again I don't set the prices but would rather someone from here get a M2 because if not someone else will buy it just wanted to make sure you guys had the chance as well.

5K over msrp is a little too high for some people right now but it will still sell for that much since 5 grand is purely pocket change to some car collectors. I was able to help my friend finid his 6mt mg executive for 1.2k markup from a dealer in norcal. This is significantly less markup then the prices recent cars on the lot have been sold for.

Let the market determine the price. It's not like these cars are a necessity of life. Personally, paying above MSRP was not worth it to me so I waited a few more months. To someone else, getting a car now is worth 5 grand.

Fixed that gtaM2, thanks for the reminder.

I think your the first I have heard of to get a below MSRP deal congrats on that. I was excited to get MSRP from a dealer who had sold the car before mine for 5k over.

I hate market premiums but I don't think we should beat up on the OP, he didn't establish the price and actually worked to get it lowered a bit and wanted to offer it up here because so many are searching for cars. I am cool with what he has done here.

I live 40 miles from the OP's dealership and it is one of the dealerships I contacted a year ago when trying to place an order for my M2 ED purchase. It would have been nice to purchase our M2 that close to home. Instead we bought it from El Paso BMW; 850 miles from home. But, we paid ED MSRP.

Most of the posters here attacking OP having no clue what is going on in SoCal market for this car as of now.

1. Most of dealer in Los Angeles area is asking minimum of 10k ADM (will not even negotiate with you if it's lower than 8k)

2. Valencia is about 40 minutes away from downtown Los Angeles, this might sound awful , but you are saving yourself 5k plus for that 40 minutes driving.

3. Those having company policy "no markups allow" will sell you bunch of accessories and programs to make up for those markups.

4. No dealer will participate the national 2.97 APR rate for the car, this is a common agreement between all the dealers here.

5. No programs whatsoever for this car and residual rate is at upper 40s for lease.

If OP really willing to sell this car with no extra add ups, +4k ADM is somewhat reasonable deal, I know it sounds awful, but you will never understand unless you live in the area.

just a common practice here in the area , check the link below

Thank you pruettfan and jaykoolzboy for understanding the circumstances. I have been on these forums for the past 10 years almost daily, and have been a BMW fanatic for as long as I can remember that pales in comparison to having only recently started working at Valencia BMW. I know and understand our concerns on these forums. Believe me when I say the only reason I posted this here is to give someone on these forums the opportunity to buy a BSM now rather than waiting months.

On a side note this BSM was the first M2 I saw in real life and she's a beauty, always been an M3 person but now I think if I could afford it I too would be getting the M2 (and avoid starting this thread in the first place ) If anyone wants some pictures let me know and ill take some.

After this last round of allocations I have a feeling the markups will be gone in a month or 2. Cars will start sitting that have them and dealers will give up.

Well said. Though I agree with the post directly above that as the allocations start rolling out, the markups will eventually vanish. Such is the nature of supply and demand with the latest and greatest new toy.

And yes, I paid MSRP but the dealer tacked on some nifty CF bits that padded the price.

No regrets : ) The car is everything I hoped it would be.
