Hey guys! Still new here, but ran a 101.4 at LRP (Lime Rock). I don't typically run much video, but I'll see if I can post bits of my data.

Car is a completely stock '18 M2 w/ Endless MX72 Pads and StopTech lines

If you have any questions on the pads, I'd love to lend an opinion.. Not sure if that topic has been beat to death yet! lol

Looks like Harry's Laptimer and a phone.

M2 Comp Laguna Seca 1:38.68

Stock other than SC3 tires, brake pads/fluids

I think it's the current Laguna stock M2C record. Faster than Randy Pobst for 2 seconds but I have marginally better tires

Did a poorly driven 1:36.3 at Autobahn CC South with Gridlife Track Battle over the weekend. Full bolt-on OG M2 w/ coilovers, sway bars, 285 square RE71's, PFC 011 brake pads in stock calipers. Easily a 1:34.0 out there if I could have figured out a few of the tricky corners and strung together a full lap.

Oh well, next time.

Managed a 1:26.5 at Summit Main, not as fast as I'd have liked but happy to be at least on the board. Had the chance to hang out with arudeone which was great.

Ambient was 75-80. I was running 245/ 265 Federal 595RS-Pro tires.

Having some issues with my app but would love some critiques on the lap once I can upload

Nice work! Solid driving.

I noticed the same thing. Fastest lap timed come when ambient temp is in the 50F range or so, and track is a bit warmer. It's a noticeable difference when the motor starts pulling timing, and it definitely shows up in the lap times.

This is one big reason I am going back to a NA car for my next track tool. Most of the days I typically attend are in May/June/July. Michigan has hot and very humid summers, and I'd rather not have to target April/May and September/October to get good lap times.
For some reason I was ignoring the fact that these cars are so heat dependent. I was slower at the end of each straight despite having more grip. Shaved a whole second off my time but there's more in it for sure. Fall days will be good, lol

How are you all mounting the camera? My headrest mount won't work on the M2C seats.

Managed a 2:33.15 at Road America today. The weather was great for a turbo car… overcast, 62. Harry’s lap time didn’t want to work for 2 of the 4 sessions today either, so there may have been more time out there? I was battling misfire issues all day so switched back to the stock tune for the last session. If I had a bigger set and could carry more through the kink there’s more time to be had too.

Visited Thompson Speedway Friday with SCDA for the first time. The track was technical and a lot more fun than others I talked to had previously mentioned.

Managed a 1:21.4 though that will be further whittled down by a few seconds on fresher, not chorded tires and more experience pushing the limits at this track.

Thompson Speedway 1:21,4 dvas M2 6MT (Nitto NT01, Bilstein B16 PSS10, PFC08)

Harry's lap time in my iPhone. Going a different way in the future as the exposure setting doesn't seem to adjust to changing conditions well w the app.

Went to Autobahn Country Club with NASA Great Lakes 08/07 and 08/08. Best time was roughly 1:40, per my GoPro video time stamps. Couldn't get the BMW Lap Timer app to work on my iPhone (wouldn't log in).

Car is a stock 2021 M2C 6spd manual.

How do you like the alignment spec? Do you drive the car to track? Is the -3 front will kill the inside tires very quick??

It's typically toe that kills the front tires. I find that a lot of the dedicated track cars run 3.5-4 degrees of negative camber so, a trade off but ultimately not bad wear!

The Ridge Motorsports Park (w/Chicane), 2:02.38

The chicane delta was 6.8s and I was slower by 0.7s everywhere else. This was on Sunday when the temps were warmer and tires felt less grippy. It was also my first time with the M2 on this track with the chicane layout. So there is more time to be had with some practice.

PBIR Turned 1:30.58 race this past weekend at SCCA race in TT2 class, also ran R1 for more track time. It was hot as balls. Have vid, not sure how to convert the VLC file to be viewed. had a blast, with a M2 CS-R and M@ race car like mine.
Homestead with Banking, first time in car and car at that track, Mike Camus turned at 1:30 and I a 1:32, so a ways to go. Will post next weekend test and race.
