11.4 is the section width. Tread width is 10.2.

If the tread width was 11.4 it would indeed change things dramatically.

But I'm still not a fan of 275's on the front of this car.

IMO you should sell the rears and correct the mistake you made instead of trying to fix it with another mistake.

what i'm leaning towards, major oversight on my part and annoying not checking if they made the front I needed. Thinking about trying the PS4S 265/30 and 295/30 combo, not getting wheels right now because they might downsize the sales team at work unfortunately.

Not a bad choice.

The 265/30 PS4S is 1" wider TW, and .5" shorter
The 295/30 PS4S is 1.4 wider TW, and .3" shorter

So you'll add a bit of understeer, and add just a bit of rake (a good thing).

Or if you have any tire brand/model suggestions for a daily driven car that gets enjoyed very regularly? The 255/30r19 option doesn't sound terrible. And I'm tired of digging in the forum lol

Thanks for the help, I'm a truck and offroad guy so know nothing about car fitments

The thing is, the M2 is very subject to balance changes with what seems like subtle tire changes.

If it were my car I'd sell those rear tires and get a set of PS4S in the standard sizes, they're awesome, and the balance will be perfect. For a standardly driven car, everything else is a compromise.

don't mind the compromises much, my other daily is a diesel on 37's with a full progressive offroad suspension

Are you running any type of suspension? I'm running a M Performance Suspension (so lowered but at stock/port-set height) and no camber plates - was thinking 275/295 (30/19) but 265/295 (30/19) might be a wiser choice?

I'm 100% stock OG M2

I really hate the stretched look so i'm having a hard time talking myself into stock sizes

You wouldn't believe this if I just told you, so I'm going to SHOW you.

A LOT of that stretched look has to do with the fender/quarter gap, and where the tire sits in relation to the fender/quarter. Basically if you add spacers the stretch will appear to be less, and dropping the car will do the same thing. Doing both will make the same tire appear far less stretched. It's just because of the way the light catches the entire sidewall.

Let me prove it to you.

This is AndrewC1989's car. He's running stock size tires, but he's lowered and has the wheels spaced all the way out. Look how flat his sidewalls look compared to the standard pictures you see of these cars.

His is the black car, and the blue car wears the same size tires, but isn't lowered and has no spacers.

Bad picture but went with Michelin PS4s 255/35 and 275/35. Couldn't be happier, the car is playful again, has great grip and even rides a little better. Thanks for all the help everyone, coming from truck and rock crawling world I'm use to different set of rules
