Whether a woman wears make-up, high heels, pumps or racy gear, in the end she's all the same person. And she knows very well that her sister who will show up in the future may become the (new) talk of town.

Folks, its 61K...I think everybody is missing the point, FOR THE MONEY its the best M special edition ever..heck the cost of the new cars are going up by $800...its limited, its special according to the factory...its a steal...now you cannot compare and apple to an orange...the CS is gonna cost you 75K plus any markup and there will be one on that car....so again 61K is a steal for the PRICE. |

The people who payed 10-50K markups on any m2 are the ones getting robbed. If you pay MSRP for this and really want the manual seats then you only got slightly fingered haha.
I still couldn't justify the price but it doesn't help that I don't want AW. They should have at least offered a one off color and made it unique or made it truly track orientated with a half cage and the rebranded recaro seats. |

Most people here don't agree with you. And I am on two lists for the cs, both with explicit no markup as part of the deposit. Maybe you at Encinitas Bmw will mark the cs up, but many won't. And do you actually know the price of the cs, or is that just a guess? Also, you aren't exactly a neutral observer here being a Bmw car salesman, and I get your perspective. But most ok here don't like this version for very good reasons. I also think the collectibility aspect is not realistic. No one knows how many cs nor other special versions will be released in the future. Last edited by Black Gold; 03-04-2017 at 03:20 PM.. |

M5 was a new "auto show" car which was bought from El Cajon BMW in san diego county, this is my gals car since day one, 60K miles flawless with no repairs so far and finally and you are not gonna believe this...my daily driver is a 335i which I purchased as "AD Car" from Century West BMW in LA...In late 2016 they ran an ad for 10 2015 new bmws which they were blowing out, best price ever for a BMW, it was a 2015 model, but is was 65,500 MSRP and I nailed for the ad price of $50,500.00. While I was there , I saw the white M1 with only 600 miles on the second floor of the building. The performance edition is not worth 70K...I agree.....but at 61K msrp it is and will continue to be the best buy dollar for dollar out there for a limited 150 special USA ONLY edition. I stand by that. In the future if the price was competitive I would certainly buy from Encinitas. |

FYI: BMW Portland has an allocation and it is still available. I was looking for the base m2, but they mentioned they had this available. I think they were asking 66k but since I wasn't interested, I didn't try and negotiate.

I am one that would buy this car IF I did not have to pay the extra $2,500 for the "M drivers" crap I do not want. Especially when you consider that the 1 day M Performance Driving class, if taken by itself, is $1,550 BEFORE my 20% BMWCCA discount. In short - I do NOT like being ripped off. Make no mistake, BMWNA is ripping you off with this $2,500 spike on your head intended only to further their outrageous profit line.
