It's not the M2 Competition. It's an OG M2 (N55) with M performance parts on it.

This. It honestly is the child of N54 and S54. It will never match the induction noise of an S54, and the N54 sounds good in its own right. I for one cant wait for the meme of burbles to die but the exhaust note its self, doesn't sound bad at all. I couldn't say which M2 will sound better, probably a draw honestly. However both just doesn't have the treble my ears crave. I am excited for what S58 is though.

Sounds like the e46m3 shitpile. Raspy and like shit. Agreed, the exhausts are all about the overrun pops and burbles, not the rev.
Now the 600lt, that is how you make a turbo sound.

However, my friend has a E46 M3 and sounds about the same’ish mixed with a F355( i sound so silly but i assume..)

Maybe s65 ownership has tainted me but this car sounds hollow and boring. Looks great but the aural pleasure isn't there.
