A Delivery Stop has been issued (effective February 14, 2019) on certain Model Year 2019 BMW M2 Competition vehicles produced from November 27, 2018 – January 31, 2019.

Approximately 101 vehicles are affected by this delivery stop.

• 56 – On the way to VDC
• 11 – At VDC
• 10 – Dealer Inventory
• 24 - Retailed

Owners Manual needs to be replaced before delivery can take place.

No mention of any stop on my delivery. Had I wanted, I could have driven it away from BMW Welt. Have to upload some photos, but I'm very happy with my configuration.

My sales guy says "we may have a problem".
Ugh.

Dealer sent me home in a 750i loaner.
No clue when I'll get the M2C.

They were very sensitive to the situation.
We bought a 540 last spring from this dealer.

They won't stop your ED for a stop sale they stop the actual delivery of your car to you in the US.

The good news is any cars in transit should probably receive the manual before the car arrives, so hopefully this won't delay too many.

I think mine is in the list too, built late dec/Jan. It's on a boat in the Atlantic, probably a week or two from port.

I would call BMW Genius and ask them for an update.

Did that on Monday, left the call with absolutely zero new information. No ETA, no explanation of why the manual is being replaced and no willingness to have the car delivered and manual mailed later. Mostly pass the buck to the dealership rep. was the most they said.

I've had their 750 since the 15th. They were sure they'd have this "cleared up in a day...."
