I see the seats don't have airbags and require coding. Is that to disable airbag check on the seats ?

I'm looking on installing some bucket seats and was thinking of using resistors to fool the car into thinking it still has airbags, but if it can be coded out it would be much more OEM-ish.
I'd worry about dropping the side airbags especially if yours is a street car. They do make nice race seats with airbags.
Search for the 997 GT2 seats in cloth add you will see what I'm referring to.

That's normal for IND, everything they sell has a hefty upcharge (OEM parts) and especially their painted ones

The Ohlins R&T are great. Very streetable - even harsh bumps are damped well

Transformed the car

I could go lower - it's on the street so didn't want to get too low

This is a very purposeful build. Everything you’d need to make it an enjoyable track car, without anything you don’t need. The seats are a splurge, but I’m sure they add a lot of enjoyment to the experience. Thinking ahead, the seats could easily be moved into the OP’s next car as a way to amortize their cost over a long time

Great build, looks like an awesome track weapon......but 16k for some basic buckets when there are tons (and literally I mean tons) of equivalents for 1/6 the price is completely asinine. There isn't 8k worth of research/tech, materials or manufacturing in each of those seats with the rails!! I don't understand how BMW can justify that. Damn.

I do applaud IND for attempting to, and ripping BMW guys off with pricing like that....you guys are nuts for supporting them! And I thought the painted reflector pricing was a middle finger to us BMW owners. Jesus Christ.

**edit, just saw IND institutes their own oem tax on shit. Terrible.

Nicely done!!

I’m curious, what lbs/in rate did you chose for the rear springs? I’m pondering an Ohlins setup...

Sorry OP but anyway good job mate, but personally I can't see the $ = satisfaction with this build.
It has same weight as stock car, better suspension, way bigger IC without a remap.

But what about brakes upgrade as this was advertised as clubsport build.

I went with the Ohlins-recommended set up of 514 lbs front and 1085 lb/in rear. Drives well and not too harsh at all unless you really dial-up the damping on the street

Impressive build ! The seats are incredible and I want to buy your car when you move to next project.

Before this M2C what were you're last cars ?

I do have to ask, are you in tech i.e Rock Star coder & programmer ?

Honestly what's your occupation - I'm clearly doing something wrong, how does one afford this ? Please I gotta know.

I love the seats and may have considered them without the 1 in front of the 6,680, but for what IND is asking for them I would definitely go a different route. Paying almost 1/3 the cost of the car for buckets seems insane to me, but I do appreciate other members taking the plunge so I can remember how poor I am
