Hello guys!
Also new here, former 135i member. I finally pulled the trigger on the following: 2020 M2 COMP, HS, Manual, Exec I wanted to ask if anyone has firm words on the changes for the 2020 model (Price, changes to tail light or what not) Either way, very excited. Thanks!

Did you actually order one? The details you're asking about would all be on the build sheet.
Just curious if you got a build number and allocation, or just a promise of a car to come. |

I submitted my order with the SA along with deposit. My SA still has to do the build in his system and get a build number, he says it takes about a week.

What I hope for , is that they take care of that problem with the front windshield (A pillar ) Sound problem. Almost like a snapping or crackling in the A pillar. Some were taking the windshield out of the car and bending the 3 pieces of sheet metal back so it wouldn’t make the noise. Is anyone having this issue still ? , I know there was another thread on it little bit ago. We know for sure about the updated taillights. Darker red , let’s hope they paint that exhaust black too ...
This is the link to that window problem. https://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1546468 Last edited by Teargas415; 02-16-2019 at 09:33 AM.. |

Me too... ordered the car two weeks ago, got a production number within a couple of hours which is only possible if the dealer has an allocation. If you don't have a production number and the dealer can't give you one, they may not have an allocation right now.
... and like the other guy above, my order is simply at 2019 MSRP plus whatever the official price increase is for 2020. Based on the Canadian pricing guide which is already out, expect something in the range of $500 or so.

My M2 is set to arrive at the dealership at the end of this month. I know I should consider waiting for a 2020 but I really want to drive it, like, yesterday... Decisions.
Also I'm thinking of keeping it completely stock and never selling it, but that's completely unrelated to this topic. |

I’m keeping mine bone stock just changing the oil and gas and other fluids. I also plan on never selling the car , also goes for our e46 m3 . Been 17 years already for the m3 in the stable.

One model year is far more than $500.

If you offered two identical cars to most anyone, I'll bet the vast majority would pay $500 more for the latter MY car. In addition to this fact auction numbers on most every other car supports this.

Valid point. If keeping the car long term, I agree the the cheaper entry cost is the better choice; some exceptions (unrelated to the M2C) to new models may apply. If keeping the car less than an est. 4 yrs. I believe there is more value than $500 in a single MY.
