They are expensive, but are beautifully-made, euro crash tested for the street (and designed for use w/harness or 3pt belt) and bolt-in. All worth significant $, so those were some of the deciding factors.

No you're thinking of the "BMW PERFORMANCE EDITION SEATS" that are $14k from IND but can be found for less else where.

The seats them selves are Recaro Sportsters which are about $1400 each. They are then re-trimmed and resold basically, but ive heard of people getting them for $4k a set but unfortunately unsure of where.

Im aware. If you read the thread, you would see i responded to the person asking if those were the "14k" seats to which i explained what the 14k seats are. Hence the sportsters.

You show the Mperf seats or whatever they call them that are Recaro Sportsters and go for like 5k if I'm not mistaken.

You can have the BMW Performance seats made here for $5350. This guy re-upholsters them how you want and provides everything needed for install. Listing says $999 shipping, but in the description he says $499 shipping to USA. He also has an instagram page (recaro_max) with more pictures of his work.

I plan to go this route someday.
