I could have sworn there was an all alcantara wheel available as well. Does anyone know that part number?

I picked it up through getbmwparts. It's listed under M3/4 performance parts but I was told it is M2 compatible.

Did you install it already or you just picked it up? I assume the M1/2 buttons are dead.

It hasn't been installed yet.

All buttons/horn/airbag get transferred from the stock wheel to the M Perf one. The M2 wheel has no M1/2 buttons so they obviously won't be transferred. Heated steering function is lost.

Pls keep us updated. As I have a m3/4 race display where I'm hoping to transfer over to the m2.

Any ideas if the race display will work for a manual ?

Yes, it should.

Don't wait for me though. My car isn't due in until mid January.

I'm planning to fit my F8x M-perf LED display wheel over to my M2. But BMW dealerships won't do it..

Etk doesn't recommend that BMW part for the m2. Even tho it's identical.

Does a flat bottom leather steering wheel exist? I want to keep my heated option and also have a sportier look with a flat bottom steering wheel

How is your m2 OLED wheel different than m3/m4's?

Installed mine super easy less than 1hr and it was my first time doing it.

Hardest part was getting the metal clip off the vibration mechanism lol

Alcantara doesn't get cold like leather.
Heated wheels are a nice feature but they are a catalyst at making us deviate from our roots as being pure driving enthusiasts. Deep huh.

Well done. My dealer it's probably going to charge me 100 bucks for install. I wish I had your skills. Your wheel is thicker than mine but I opted for the full alcantara wheel. i'm not a fan of how the leather becomes shiny after a while.
