If you DFW guys ever make a Hill Country cruise let us San Antonio & Austin area guys know! Starting to see a decent amount of M2’s around the area & out on the tracks around here.
Also if any of y’all are in the area are in the SA area more than welcome to come check out our new shop. The actual shop is not much to speak of yet (renovation getting ready to kick into high gear but we typically have a couple of cool projects going on at any given time. Right now the OG M2 & M2C shop cars are our focus

Ultimate Bimmer Service is good, check them out online. Good reviews, etc...I only used them once for an oil change on a mint E46M3 I had, but they were good and professional. Another shop that I like (way more low key and "industrial") is MPorium BMW, small one owner shop but the owner is a great guy and very honest.

Funny you say that - started looking a couple of weeks ago into what it would take to make something like this happen next fall. Would love to get a track weekend / car show / general get together going at COTA. Would take a lot of cars to make it economically feasible though - even with the goal just to be to cover costs. Or maybe piggyback one of the hpde orgs if they would be open to it. Definitely going to keep looking into it - think it would be a riot.

Myself and a few other m2s (along with a couple i8s) will be @ ECR in Decatur this Saturday morning for an open track day.
Kind of last minute notice, but would be nice to get more m2s out there! |

Yeah that would be the biggest issue. To do something as a standalone I think at minimum would have to be open to all BMWs - which I think would be really fun. If it is just M2's would likely to have to piggyback an HPDE. Either way would have to have a decent size upfront commitment - especially at COTA. But definitely think worth looking in to
