Small oil leak

I found some small drips of oil on my garage floor last night, I placed white cardboard underneath my car and it seems to be coming from the drain plug area.
Any of you guys had issues with leaking oil?
I just purchased the car 2 months ago, I know they performed all the needed services before I took delivery.
I will call the local dealer tomorrow to make an appointment to get this looked at.
Glad I'm still under warranty/cpo
Btw car is a 17 with 37kmiles

Probably something as simple as the drain plug not getting torqued to spec, or if there is a crush washer, not replacing it (or doubling it). I can't imagine it'd be anything sinister.

This happened to me recently. I got underneath to hand tighten the bolt and it just kept spinning....bolt ended up being stripped.

I took it into the dealer after some photos were exchanged with my SA. They asked me who did the last oil change and I told them it was them.
They kept the car for a couple days, but eventually drilled new threads into the oil pan and replaced the bolt.
Got a hold of a bolt specialist (their words) to come out and validate the fix - this part took the longest as the guy is very busy and couldn't come out the same day I dropped the car off.

Car's been perfectly fine since.

Same thing happened to me dealer said they tried to re-thread the thread but didn't work so they used a time sert it's like a solid thread bushing which binds itself to the aluminum. Haven't had a issue since.

I purchased the car from bmw about 120 miles away, my local dealer wants them to pay for a new oil pan but the dealer where I purchased it want to rethread the pan. In the mean time I am just in the middle waiting until they find common ground lol
