Couple logs from the track

hey folks did some logs down at the strip a few nights ago. weather was about 15-19C and a prepped track for an event that wknd.

first one is a 91 stg2 and second on 93 and i fill 94 from petro canada:

http://www.bootmod3.net/log?id=5ce89fb4c090c619491d320a

am running the 91 as the daily. as for times best i managed was a 13.2 at 113mph with a sucky 2.3 60' was hard to get the PSS to grip in the cool weather. an rs3 with a stg2 tune was running 11.3s i would've expected faster but she was complaining about grip too.

would love to get thoughts from you'll on the logs.

thanks in advance!

I'd be curious to see the analysis too.

Cylinder 5 looks a bit sketchy on 93, with really low timing compared to the rest. Overall logs are both decent, but 91 is cleaner overall.

thanks and yea it does! the FMIC seems to be doing a pretty good job at managing the IATs. the 93 tune seems to be super sensitive to octane and is a bit borderline aggressive if fuel isn't up to snuff.

how's shell v-power 93 or the esso 93?

was trying to do logs on stg 1 and stock as well but had some issues flashing and ran out of time. for the folks that flash with the wifi agent or flash on the road in general keep the appropriate socket to disconnect the battery ground in case you need to. i found out the hard way all is well though made it home without any drama per se

It's interesting that timing appears to be getting pulled on cylinder 5 even on the 91 map though obviously not as much as on the 93.

Magha - how do the two maps feel when driving? I'm thinking of getting BM3, but it seems like the 93 map is just a real challenge.

Honestly not much off a diff however will say weather hasn't been the best to do Mexico runs so can't say without pulling 3rd or 4th through the revs.

Butt dyno did feel 91 to be smoother less jerkiness or hesitation

As said already timing adv is numerically low on 91 and 93 - a sign that both grades (91 & 93) of gas are cr@p - and goes all over the place with Stg2 93.

Despite this your car is hitting higher boost figures with fuel trims looking ok with Stg 2 93...but I'd imagine that prolonged WOT ie on a road course the car would be happier on stag2 91 than stg2 93.

It looks to me like yr car would be OK with better fuel on stg2 93 or add some Boostane or similar octane booster.

Have you tried/datalogged Stg1 93 OTS ?

thanks! was going to log that map on the next run but never ended up happening as i had flashing issues. will run stg 1 and stock logs next visit to the strip.

might also try a diff stn but same brand and see if i notice anything diff.

yea for road course i will most prob run stock vs any stages. is faster than my skillset stock anyways so why complicate things further!

Running the 93 tune on Canadian fuel seems like a tall order, I'm surprised by your logs without additives, I can't get anything resembling those without booster. I also have to contend with altitude so that's another factor. It would be fortunate if you can get much better on pump 93, since the fuel quality regulations are probably the limiting factor.

If the 5th cylinder is constantly the outlier I would look at swapping that coil with another cylinder to see if the problem follows.
