The road and weather conditions were not so great today. I didn’t have any problem getting in and out of the unplowed go station parking lot and on the roads but I got stuck in my driveway. Every single time! I make it home but not up the driveway

Nope. Only for you.

How old are the tires? and do you have traction on?

Probably the worst winter tires I’ve owned. I think they’re rated more for cold weather performance than actual snow. The hill isn’t crazy steep but it’s a long, gradual incline and there is nowhere to get a running start at it. Many people get stuck, I watched 3 different cars getting pushed up it today haha.

Doesn’t seem like I’m the only one.

Tires have a few hundred km on them.

Yes but do you hit the traction button?

Maybe try doing lil diagonal slaloms , instead of just heading straight up

I live by the NB/QC border where we get some of the most snowfall per year anywhere in Canada and I've been stuck only twice with my PA4's. Both situations where atleast 40cm of snow, incline and under-ice was involved. I've been kidney grille deep in fresh powder before and still made it through. You're driving wrong lol.

Traction mode = hella fun on roads with decent snow.

If it's just a dusting be on alert the back end comes out real easy but fun nonetheless

I’m hoping the snow is over haha, but if we get some more I will definitely give it a shot.

PA4s are awesome in the cold/dry.

Had them on my 991.2 and couldn't move on less than a few inches on minor incline, awful.

Have hakkas on my 128i and able to drive through avalanches...

Im using sottozero’s in stock sizes. They’re pretty decent in snow. If I still have the M2 next winter, Ill get the OEM M2C winter wheel/tire package.

I really don’t like parking it at the GO but its better than wasting 4hrs daily on the highway. I try to take the 6:30 train so I can park in a nice corner spot, lol. I actually see a few M4’s and M5’s parked at the station every now and then.

Yes, getting to the stations early is the key, my M2 has fared well in the corner spot or at least neighbouring the corner spots where the stalls are either a little wider or pie-shaped.

I'm on XIce3s in 245s and am always amazed at just how well my car does in the snow. Even on Wednesday evening I had no trouble getting moving despite the lot being unplowed with all kinds of ridges and drifts from other cars.

This is good to hear cause I'm divided between XIce and Hakka's for next year.

The Hakka's on the 128 are awesome.

That would be nice as mine arrives in the next 2-3 weeks! I doubt it though, March will most likely still be below 0 with the odd day that gets around+5ish.
