Is there a way to see what my production week is on the mybmw via bmwusa website?

The dealer said week 40 however, I’d like to see if this changes.. hopefully it moves up. Has anyone gone through this process before and had their production week move up?

Still on the fence between blue or orange stitching. I’ve got HS with black wheels picked.. leaning towards orange to be different since the current M2 only has blue. Thoughts?

They can move up in build date, but they can also get pushed out too. IMO there's no sense in fretting over it, there's nothing you can do about it short of getting another allocation. Aside from the build date you need to factor in the time it takes to leave the factory on a train to be moved out to port to be placed on a carrier, how long the carrier takes to be loaded before sailing out, then the route the carrier takes and multiple stops it has to make, then the time it takes to get past customs and be loaded on a truck for delivery, then the truck making multiple drop offs on the way...

Earliest build week so far. A few with 31. You sir are probably getting one of the first M2C's in the US.

Week 28 is July 9th - 15th. Since they are usually closed for plant refitting and holidays the first 2 weeks in July it probably won't start until around the 15th. but you are right, you will get one of the first M2Cs production run.

Confirmed allocation 6/15/18
Build week: 36 (9/3/18)
Location: Bergstrom BMW, Appleton, WI

They had only one allocation. I requested to be added to the list the day the M2C was announced. I paid MSRP. I went with BSM, 6 speed, blue stitching, exec package, and black wheels.
I was able to trade my '17 MIneral Gray DCT.

How long until we can expect a VIN number assigned to our orders? My dealer said once he gets a VIN we can run finance and payment numbers

My SA told me there are no port installed options available the moment.

I'm debating between the black and silver wheels. I really wish some pictures would show up of the black wheels IRL.

Got the call today from Flemington BMW (NJ). I was second on the list with a deposit.

Just gave the CA my build and awiting to sign the order.

This will be my first BMW. Went back and forth between the 18 vs the 19. But..... I'm going to go big or go home.

yep seems like. initially when the pictures came out a lot of people were not sure about it but now it seems 70-80% folks who have ordered so far are silvers..
