This is news to me. I was really hoping end of August, but if it's September 17th then it is. Doing PCD though don't have to worry about people touching or seating.

That is what I was told, but obviously others are picking cars up sooner. IDK ???

Just spoke with BMW NA, they can't confirm the September 17th date for US order. Guess we will have to wait and see

Mine will take awhile to get from Bremerhaven to Incheon so.... Even though I'm beginning of production I probably won't see the car until after the 17th anyway.

After seeing some people's orders already went into production earlier than their confirmed prod week, I just gave a call to BMW Genius. My initial confirmed prod week was week 37 and BMW Genius told me it's week 38 now. What a disappointment

That sucks and it‘s kinda weird.

I put my order in 1st of june, delivery week 38, not changed since then.

Just updating with since I got my VIN I had to pay the balance on the car, so now the car is paid in full. Just have to wait two months now to get it... (I did a version of factory direct sales so I had to pay the balance once a VIN was assigned)

So I guess that means I'm the first to pay for the M2C!

Wow so different over there. I put my 1k down and I can pretty much back out even after the car hits the lot and get my 1k back.

Well it's BMW Military sales. I'm sure Korean sales are quite... Normal!

I'm told that even after I've made a few payments I can still reject the car when it gets here and get my money back minus 5%, but I'm not interested in doing that haha!

If you already have your vin, that means your in production status 150. You can check via BMWUSA, under my garage.

Maybe we should! Do you think you'll still be there when we arrive for our 10:10 'Check In'? I wonder how quickly BWM pushes people through the process. I read someplace that a typical Welt day is 80+ customers going through, and a record (?) of 180 or so one day during Oktoberfest.

Anyway, we're trying to decide between staying at Leonardo Royal Hotel which is just a mile from the Welt so we could walk there, or another place (Schwabinger Wahrheit) that would be a short subway ride.

Have you decided where you're going after pickup? (We're headed to Bamberg, to try the "smoke" beer and see the sights. And eventually to the Nurburgring!)

That's where I saw the VIN and status "production begins", but I don't see a reference to 150.
