DINAN Carbon Intake.. gives it a nice look under the hood, sealed so won't pull hot air in from the engine bay and won't break the bank.

Anyone else have a high pitched whistle with the CTS intake, mostly at part throttle? I have had open intakes on other cars and I am used to the "whoosh" of air being sucked in but this is on top of that sound. I have re-done all of the clamps, tried re-seating them, etc to make sure everything is good but still have the sound. My guess is it is where the cone filter attaches to the MAF housing. Due to the MAF support it is really hard to get a perfect seal.

You might improve sound and looks with an aftermarket intake. Not sure if any actually hinder performance by potentially taking in hot air from the engine bay. I was waiting for actual dyno numbers on the MSR intake but didn't see any stock vs Intake numbers so dropped that idea. The Dinan was close to stock design and in Carbon so I went with that one.

haven't seen what having an open intake does, and i dont imagine we will since most dynos run w/ the hood open anyways. |

[QUOTE=UltraMagneticAL;22595107]intake for this car is basically bling. run file 1-3 are exhaust only; the rest are exhaust+intake. this is w/ a sealed gruppeM intake.
Is this stock motor or tuned? Pretty strong HP for stock... |
