wish my local dealership, bmw of the main line, was here, but since they reneged on a deal i am not shocked they arent.

Sorry, that is Ontario California. Its by my house and its the worst dealership ever so I am not sure what kind of criteria they use for these rankings. Maybe how badly you can screw buyers?

Correct, BMW Canada has nothing to do with BMW NA. Rather strange if you ask me.

10 of 34 are in CA. Is that because they are really that good or is there a heavily weighted factor there related to how many cars they sell.

Not sure, our sales here surpass every other dealer in the country and we aren't on that list lol.

I believe that's Ontario California, not Ontario Canada.

So no Canadian dealers I. e. Budd's or Mississauga.

It's actually mostly based on purchasing from the dealer. Namely total parts purchase, accessory/PIA sales, total cars sold, CSI, and a few others. These scored are weighted and averaged so if a dealer did remarkable accessory sales (Tischer), the overage would help another score.

It's related to total business and California is the #1 state in the US for BMW. If California were a country on the International market, we'd be somewhere around 5-7th in total BMW sales in the WORLD.

Canada also works off the EU catalog which may have something to do with the fact that they are on a different playing field so they are held accordingly. It's a big deal for Canada dealers to sell to American dealers but not the other way around.

Sun Motors in Mechanicsburg, Pa is a top quality organization. I have 2 friends that work in the body shop and both are very satisfied working there. They also have every accessory MB offers. Picknic tables, watches, tricycles, you name it.

How about the shame list for dealerships? Competition BMW in Smithtown, NY for not putting my splash shield on my car correctly and now its exposing the undercarriage of my n54. I can't trust these guys to do my airbag recall when that comes due soon.

That would be one monster list, there is a bunch of them that deserve this title. I know in the DMV the only good one besides Catonsville that is not here is Silver Spring, all else is
