Yeah, 100 octane is expensive!
I haven’t tried it yet, but I bought a $20 can of Boostane Premium for my next outing. I don’t want to run booster all the time, but it’s probably a good idea for the track to stave off timing pull. Boostane has a really nice app to calc how much you need for a certain octane. A quarter can takes you from 93 to 98. That’s $5 of Boostane vs $80 of race gas. |
