M2 Tuning Advice
I am new to M2 tuning and need some advice. I have a stock 2017 M2 6MT with the following.
I am now focusing on performance mods. Here is what I have and need to install.
No real plans for this car other than making it faster and feeding my affliction. Any thoughts from the board on this setup and what my next steps should be?
Thanks in advance. Last edited by cpow99; 07-19-2020 at 01:52 AM.. Reason: Added 6MT |

1. You have to look through the forum posts for answers. I don't remember all that off the top of my head, and even if I did, I wouldn't take the time to write it all out when it's already documented here.
2. BM3 is my preference and the best in it's class, I think. Though if you go larger turbo and different fueling, MHD or ecutek may be better, but I haven't got that far yet. 3. Plugs fine 4. ~400hp/450tq at wheel. 5. Porsche |

1. Install - Try set aside a day for FBO install at the same time, it will be a much easier process
2. Tune - BM3 is good 3. NGK 97506 with 0.020" gap - Perfect 4. 390+whp depending on octane 5. I personally wouldn't go more than FBO and a tune. You will be paying more for less and also sacrificing reliability. If you really want more after FBO, I would just get a different car. |
