In some countries i think the Alcantara steering wheel is standard ! On my configuration papers , the alcantara steering wheel is not mentioned i think , and they told me that there wasn't even an option to upgrade it!

It is standard down here. What wheel do you get? The heated M2 Comp one? Maybe it's something for countries with cold climates that need a heated wheel?

I have no idea what steering wheel ill have .. i hope its the alcantara. Our climate here is so warm so for sure not a cold country , i just can't see the M alcantara steering option in my configuration papers and when asked they told me that there wasnt such an extra.. : at least if it comes without it , i can buy it later.

Any update on delivery window. I read on 2er talk that a lot of orders were pushed back 30 days. That was more optimistic than I had anticipated.

I was told status 105 means on hold and that they will be switching to MY21 vin when they resume production.

Mine was set on status 112 last Tuesday. Today it was reset to status 105 due to restriction of production capacity according to my dealer. It looks as if it'll be a very long waiting...

I am confused . . . at this point, are we talking about the M2C or M2CS being status 105?

I understand the Covid situation and its impact on, well, everything . . . but anticipation of the CS release seemed never ending, even before Covid encroached upon our lives.

I think these are still CS. There are some members in other parts of the world.. Gromper falls into this bucket.

If it's any consolation, the BMW has not even opened up the ordering guide in the US. Did your dealer tell you if it will be a MY21?

Any chance we can convert this to a poll for confirmed order of color/brakes combinations?

Dave

If they do change it up, could you please chalk both of us down for HS with black wheels and red brake calipers.

Gotcha,

I think BMW will focus on building as many CS's as possible for Europe first, as there is 2 more months before they are no longer compliant.

In several days it will be mid-July. Are we to assume CS allocations in August for US? I believe someone mentioned allocations come out at the beginning of the month.
