Coding Off Pre-LCI Brows - DRL

For you Pre-Lci people who have your angel eye brightness turned up and want to shut the eyebrow off in DRL mode (since it is noticeably less bright and can't be coded brighter):

Bimmercode > FEM > Expert Mode > 3063

Mapping _Universal_1_Output > off
Mapping _Universal_2_Output > off

Result:

If you want to shut off the brow and/or eyes with your low beams see here:

Just to confirm, brows will be off in DRL but when low beams turn on the brows will too?

Yes, I thought that was pretty clear given that I provided another separate link for the coding to have them off with the lowbeams.

Don't mean to dig this thread back up but I tried doing this on my 4 series and found all the proper menus and did the same code. However, it did not change anything on my car. I'm not sure if it is because its a different model but the menu options in bimmercode were exactly the same.

These instructions were really helpful 👌my eyebrows are off in DRL mode and Lowbeam mode now, which is what I wanted. Any idea how to turn them off for Parking mode as well?

Pretty much just want them off for every mode

Don’t own the car anymore so can’t test but if I remember correctly, when I did the eyebrow coding for the DRL mode it shut them off in the parking light mode as well.

If that’s not the case for you then you need to play around in FEM 3063. Search the word “output” in the search bar at the top, go one by one and set to 0x00/off, code, check if it worked, undo if not, try next one. Rinse and repeat until you hit pay dirt. And make sure you remember what the original setting was so you can undo it if you have to.

Leave a comment if/when you figure it out so we can save the next person a headache.

I actually went back to a backup before turning anything off in order to start fresh,

Just followed Andrew’s instructions from the beginning and now the parking lights are off as well.

Final product: eyebrows off in every light mode, off during welcome lights as well.
