Some great stuff in here, but every one of these 'shops should be deleting that damn grille badge...

FFS BMW put M mirrors on the car it finishes it off! There is just no excuse. Everyone was expecting them. When ever anyone asked, standard response given "they will get them" "every m car gets them" "1M got them at the very end". This is just BS

Guys to be honest regarding the M-Mirrors they have a certain amount of standard type of mirrors they use for different type of cars but if you are asking for the M3/M4 mirrors they would have to re design the whole area where the mirrors are attached to make it fit and i don't think they will be doing that anytime soon.

So drop the M-Mirror request for the time being maybe when the LCI comes around they will add it or if they release them in April but i doubt it. But for now you will have to buy those type of Mirror caps that are a recreation of the M3/M4 mirrors even if it sucks needing to buy caps for a premium car but i guess we have to face the facts this is whats now and just deal with it

COMPLETELY agree. Blacked fangs looks terrible and generic.

If anything the black splitter should cover the lower part of the side intakes

I attended a workshop on the M and BMWi aerodynamics , and the shape is not there as a design appendage. It is intricately honed in the wind tunnel to adapt to the car and divert airflow, it also adds more definition and brutality that you would expect with an M car. You know exactly what this car is and you won't be second guessing it.
The next M5 will follow the same philosophy but in a manner reflecting the businessmen's express.

I'm not sure either. But I kind of like it. Maybe connect it to the tip of the fang in a way like the gt6 vision?

I like it stock. Mineral Grey should mellow out the fangs a little bit. Can't wait to see real photos of it in MG and white.

The best ///M cars just needed one on the trunk lid. The people who know (and care) will know what you're driving, the people who don't, won't (and won't care), regardless of all the badges in the world.
