Did the letter come with a Nigerian seal of Authenticity?

Why does that letter look like it came from an 1980's typewriter? No letterhead, no signature... I've seen better stuff from his majesty the prince of Nigeria. OP do you have anything to legitimize the doc?

A 1980's typewriter letter, no signature from the guy who supposedly in December 2018 decided it was time to retire...

A statuary declaration typed on the same typewriter and signed by the Pope will soon be provided.

I have no idea. It's not mine. Like I said in the OP I'm posting it on behalf of a FB member who doesn't have an account here on Bimmerpost.

I don't see any reason for it to be fake but anything is possible I suppose

It is legitimate because it is included in their warranty statement on their website now. Which was updated January 31st. Every time I look at this document they keep adding more and more stuff that voids warranty.

To add a bit of context, it's on the m2 group on FB. Here is the original link:

Their tune seems just as credible as those intake turbines sold on ebay.

Wow... this company sounds so sketch. If that's the production value of their letter, how can we expect their actual product/tune to be any better?

Personally, I'd be more worried that they would weasel their way out of any warranty claims. That's just based on the number of restrictions they kept adding (crank hub fix, oil change restrictions and documentation, you can't Dyno the car, etc.). And if you don't need the warranty there are so many cheaper options with more customization.

I'm sure there's someone here that knows - how can a company sell a product with a warranty, then change the warranty after products are sold? is that enforceable, especially for those that paid for the product under different, older warranty terms?

I'm going to go ahead and say no, it's likely not enforceable, nor am I sure it's legal. The hard thing here is that there is probably no public change-log of said warranty, so unless a savvy tune purchaser downloaded a copy of it beforehand, they likely will just have to lube up and take it from Noelle.

Does anyone else find it...... interesting that the Noelle warranty only now specifically includes dyno tuning as a way to void the warranty, but only after people started asking for real numbers/dyno charts at the end of last year?

Coincidence?

Hmmmmmm.

Its only a coincidence if you're a complete idiot. This whole thing is a scam. I'm waiting for people to start coming forward with how they got scammed out of $$$, or their engine blew up.

We went from "we'll warranty anything" to "we'll only warranty if you add a bolt capture to your crankhub" to "we'll only warranty if you add a bolt capture and never instrument validate".

If it's not an outright scam, then this must be their first day at business.

Well, for those that need it, I have an older version of their warranty statement dated May 2019. It was easy to get, all you had to do was edit the link from "Warranty-Statement-2" to "Warranty-Statement"

It aint. Deal terms are made at the exchange of the "consideration" which is the "this for that." Can't change the deal after the fact and try to apply the changes retroactively. Haha no.
