We got one without dual climate control that looked like it came from the 2000s. Probably saved a few grams.

And yet the powered seats were mandatory. That’s the bit I don’t get, it’s an easy weight saver.

I would have preferred manual seats as well. The memory function is nice, but in my other car with manual seats, I never move them once they are set.

I went driver mod, and I’m down to about 145lbs at 6’ tall. Mainly a result of running marathons, but it does help in the car compared to a 225lb driver, including trying to minimize the wear on the seat bolsters.

Also, so much speculation about future value, and I get it. My thought is that it will have to be a true garage queen to make a big difference in 10 years. 40K miles vs 55K miles won’t move the needle significantly. I’m paying $2K per year to insure the CS, so I’m driving it more and more these days.
