Nope.

They are the same headlights that came on the 2018 OGM2 LCI and the M2Chubby.

Porsche leases are insanely high. GT4 around $118k. $6000 down. 36 month. 10k per. $3500 per month.

M5C at same price and only $2500 down @ $1700 per month.

Both using online payment calculator.

Not that I was considering the CS anyway... but keeping the rear seats but without the ability to fold removes a lot of utility. Mostly everything can be added on to a base M2c, only thing I wish I could have paid for from the factory is a CF roof. If this ends up being $85K, I don't think they'll sell well. Perhaps that's why they are limiting to 2200 units.

For that price I could pick up a set of used HRE R101s, KW V3s, BM3, upgraded pads, a few other CF cosmetic mods and still have $15k in the bank. Not to mention the car would be unique. The whole "CS" moniker has been a failure for BMW imo

yeah, but the car doesn't really work with 1/8 tank of gas (considering the gas tank is like 10 gallons) - and I don't want to remove all that other stuff - why is the damn car so heavy? MAKE THEM SMALLER

Sports Car: 2-door, RWD, open top/targa, manual gearbox, basic idea of the car is fun through handling.
Which is pretty much the opposite of a Muscle Car.
And what's right in the middle? A GT (grand touring) Car, which is your BMW.
If you want a Sports Car look to the Mazda Miata, Honda S2000, Lotus Elise/Exige, etc.
Yeah, I've thought about an Exige...I mean, I had a 996GT3 and did some daily driving in it...

Just hate that BMW keeps making cars BIGGER and BIGGER....why?

What you see on Porsche's website is completely inaccurate.

Not uncommon in the auto industry.

What a shame
That’s similar price to a AUC M4GTS

You can't just take the Euro price and convert it into GBP. It doesn't work like that. It won't be £85,000 RRP in the UK. Thanks to Brexit, UK BMWs are so much cheaper than the Euro prices.

If this a EU weight it would correspond to 1500 kg (a figure mentionned to another forum member) DIN, representing a 50 kg saving vs the M2C manual.
If 1575 kg is a DIN weight it could be a figure for the DCT version but in that case would just be identical to the M2C with DCT.

From what we know about the car I hardly see how they could have gained 50 kgs. I suspect that if there is any gain it is relatively modest and therefore not worth to advertise.
I asked a BMW guy with a tablet about the weight and he said that a manual M2 CS was 1.500kg (and the same weight as the manual OG M2). But; I did not ask this in writing for future proof or asked how they reduced weight 😉

Use the pricing for the M2C... My spec in the UK was 53K GBP (or 60K EUR) and 76K EUR for me in CZ. Use that same comparison for the pricing of the M2CS and I think it will be roughly 75K starting price???

Again all cars have been getting bigger. The new 911 is bigger and weighs more by over one hundred pounds.

Check what's happening in M3 land. Fasten your seatbelt...

With the approximate 74.5" of width from G80, it's approaching Nissan GTR territory.

Not sure why people are already counting out the M2CS. Yes, the price will probably be too high, but I think the end result potentially could be the best thing BMW M has put out in years.

I've never driven the M3/4 CS, but every review I've seen is that this is by far the best of the platform, and there is a significant improvement over the Comp Pack. The only problem is that it just doesn't justify the price. There's no doubt the performance will be there for M2CS IMHO. It might not seem it on paper, but more power, adaptive suspension (remains to be seen if this is good or bad), more visual flair AND available in 6MT = win.

Having said all this, I still think the M2C is the bargain of the bunch, and the choice I would go with personally.

So far I'm still set on purchasing the CS. Yes, it's pricey. Yes, I'm one of those people who want the factory warranty and prefer not to mod. Yes, I'm one of those poeple who prefer to drive a car that isn't seen very often. I actually think the exclusivity fee for this vehicle is not that high when considering the cost of parts and labor to mod a M2C into the same car.

Problem is this will just look like an M2. Same with the M3/M4 CS, do you really notice them on the road?

Why would anyone buy this when they can buy a C8 for less? I was a fan of the M2, until the C8 was announced.

This will be a decision based upon pricing for me. I would also wait for a C8 GS in hopes of a NA flatplane V8. My C8 would likely be significantly more expensive than the CS.

I don't understand what people expect from the CS. It is not an entirely new car. It is an advanced version of an existing car. A more advanced M2. People need to have realistic expectations. If you want a new car buy another car from a different company.

I'll certainly be doing my due diligence shopping around. This is not an insignificant sum of coin, and this is playing in an area where there are some good low mileage used options out there. I want a hoot of a car with a manual tranny and room for 2 adults + 2 kids.

Pretty sure that was the sound of the walls closing in

Me neither, shouldn't the carbon roof and comp seats save at LEAST 20 pounds? We are gonna have to wait for official weights,
