As the title says I'm trying to buy my first set of aftermarket wheels for my 2021 M2C and after a bit of research I still have some questions. I'm looking to purchase the APEX EC-7 ET-28 19 x 9.5 and ET -45 19 x 10.5 and fit 265/30 and 285/30 Michelin pilot sport 4s to them in order to keep the stock stagger.

1. First will these fit on the stock suspension with no issues/no rubbing including the front liner on the m2c ?

2. Will this make the current wheel gap worst, I am looking to eventually run the M performance coilovers in the future to drop the car an inch or so ? And will this setup work down the line when I do get the m performance coilovers?

3. From my understanding the TPMs and BMW center pieces can be swapped from the stock wheels no issues to the new ones ?

Anything else I should be aware of, all the help is appreciated. Thanks !

2. With coilovers you will need spacers in the front.

3. Yes, you can swap the TPMs an center caps without issues.

1. Yes. But if you end up getting coil-overs you'll need an extra 5mm of space on the inside.

2. Yes, you'll have additional gap front and rear, an additional 6mm.

3. That is correct.

The front is always a difficulty on this car, and EVERYTHING depends on your suspension and final camber settings. The rear is easy cheese, in fact, you're going to want to space it out probably.

Apex are experts at this, so it'll work for sure, but if you change suspensions then you may run into some rubbing problems.

ET45 is perfect for the f87 on rear, you don't need any spacers unless you want to look gypsy.


ET42 10.5 285/35, I even prefer ET45

I prefer the 275/35 sidewall stretch on the Gypsy 10.5 +35

I have 245/265 s on ET22 9.5" and ET45 10.5" apex wheels, I have gypsy 7.5mm spacers on the rear

I will move to 275/35 on the rear, the car in real life looks more flush than in the pictures, but a long way from Gypsy. If you intend to run any camber without oversized tyres then 28/45 is inset IMO

Plus as soon as you want to fit suspension you need a 5mm spacer, not sure why most don't buy ET22, so glad I did. I wish they had more offset options for the rear I would not have bought ET45, I would have bought 40 or less

I'll take pictures on weekend, the rear tires are newly mounted.
Front 9.5 ET22 275/30
Rear 10.5 ET42 285/35

This tire setup is amazing on the M2, I'm thinking of buying a set of 10.5 ET40 rims for my M4 and using 285/35 all around.
