Dinan vs. AA exhaust for M2C?
I'm not interested in the extra piping (and honestly, I'm not sure why you'd replace it anyway). So let's call it axleback to axleback.
So, apples to apples-- What is the difference between the two? Sound? The only AA clip I've heard was a prototype, and different microphones, outside conditions etc. can change the sound significantly. So, does anyone have a comparison between the two? The AA's a little cheaper (and I like the tips better), so I'm unsure which way to jump. If you were going to buy one, which way would you go? TIA-- R. |

I just installed this last weekend the AA Signature catback on my M2C, ill post a review later today on the installation and impressions since there arent any other reviews but the one on the prototype you mention.

Not sure either have been shipped yet for M2C.
Might be a week or two before we get any comparos. From my research, the equal length midpipe is what gives the change in sound from an 80's RX7 to a more musical and symphonic inline six. Dinan's is a bit nicer to listen to than stock - tonally - likely due to the x-pipe - but IMO the equal length is what makes the pulses flow like mother nature intended to create a harmony and tone that is pleasant. I got the AA EL resonated midpipe to go on the stock exhaust axle back. Will report back when installed in a month or so. In the meantime, here's a video with some good sound clips Last edited by n8dgr84; 01-11-2021 at 12:28 PM.. |
