I have two more questions. Does this full cat-back exhaust pass New York emissions inspection? Also which catted downpipe is best to pair with this system and will catted downpipe throw SEL light and pass/fail NY inspection?

Single midpipe or resonated EQ + REMUS axle-back + catted downpipes sound great. Its 2 different sounds, i keep going back and forth on which one is the best

1st off the AA Catback should not be an issue if you leave your downpipe cats alone. The system does get rid of the secondary cats but they aren't monitored by any O2 sensors. I run the single AA midpipe with the Wagner 200 Cel HFC's. I needed to add some mini Cat O2 spacers to pass the OBD11 Readiness check here in MA. I'm not worried about it passing an actual sniffer test. I had an EVO 10 with a HFC on it and it also passed the sniffer with a 200 cel cat several yrs back. My advice is NOT to go cheap on HFC's. The good ones are going to run you right around $2K. If your not tracking your car or planning on tuning it I don't think HFC's are the best way to drop coin on your M2. If you do the above then I think its a worthwhile investment. HFC's will increase your exhaust sound around 20-25% both closed and open valved. HTH, Steve

I tuned my 135i and then 340i and will not go that route again as it compromised engine reliability(without supporting mods of course) on the track when pushed to the limit. Don't have M2 yet, but new M2 comp. will replace my 340i soon.

This was my #1 reason for waiting till the M2C came out for sale. I'm running a custom Pump 93 tune which is probably around 510-520 WHP. I've got both the AK Motion Display & Elec M Sport wheel showing coolant and oil temps. I couldn't believe that neither moved during multiple 20 minute track sessions... Its one hell of a great track motor

Thanks. Just looked at your M2 c build. Wow, the list of your mods is impressive.
Would be interesting to see you in that car at the track. Which tracks do you go to in the north east?
