Tesla? I just did the opposite: Tesla Model 3 to M2C (6MT). Long-time BMW owner who had the Tesla for a year. Tesla has amazing technology and head-snapping torque, but the novelty wears off. They are boring to drive.

I'm loving my manual M2C. I don't ever want another car.

HaHa! I hear you. Used to race bikes and loved driving all the MINIs I've owed.
I LOVE the M2 but just found that I could not use the power anywhere. It wants to go fast and doing 240k on the DVP is just silly.

Was going to do a Tesla Model 3 Perf but the condo being slow with a charge point made the decision for me :-). My wife preferred the M2C in every way and made a good point that EV's are just going to get better going forward, so may as well enjoy the current ICE vehicles out there. Just waiting on the order.

I still believe for a daily driver there is nothing that beats out the tesla model 3.

Except for the sound!

Who doesn't like tire roar? Ya losing the sound is the only thing that would be missed, but for the majority of trips in the city you are sitting in traffic or moving slowly anyway. Don't get me wrong, I love that M2 and all sports cars out there, but from a pure daily perspective I am convinced on EV's of all sorts. Any other situation I would grab the keys for the M2.

Yes, I agree that your type of use is a big consideration. Tesla M3 is great for DD. Thankfully, my M2 is not a daily driver.

I also agree that 240km/h on the DVP would not be smart. Likely not even possible unless you were on the shoulder or at 4am.

When I first got the M2 and it had 3k km's on it. I took my son and his best friend for a ride. The southbound onramp from Bloor Street is a corner I know well so I am showing off to these young men! There's not much traffic and I redline the car in a few gears and then look down at the speedometer and it says 220. I was nowhere near the Richmond Exit! You just don't feel the speed. I learnt a valuable lesson that day.

If Tesla is offering you 52k for the trade, you're effectively getting $58,760 due to the tax credit. Car looks great by the way

I've had the pleasure of a rather empty DVP on my bike, but I don't have the balls to push it into the 'stolen car' territory. The GT3 and GTR did not feel the same way.

Yes, that's a great curve. Tighter than it looks and then up to the DVP. Unfortunately, I'd say about 90% of the time there is a minivan in front of me who slows down to crawling speed going around that.

Also, call me paranoid, but I would not admit to speeding at that level in a public forum.

I could be a big fat liar. And very likely am!

So I have decided to tradein the M2. There is no way with all the upgrades I can get a better deal than the trade. I'm trading it is with the snow tires on!
Everything else is up for grabs.
So PM me if you want to make an offer.
Today I pulled the CSF Intercooler. I'm going to start a tread with this and the new never installed Dinan Big Turbo. These 2 with the Dinan tune will net you 450HP.
