Car Jack Recommendations

2018 M2 any recommendations for car jack or where to buy? Amazon seems to have limited options and not a lot of "low profile".

Thank You

I bought the low profile 3 ton jack at Costco. Heavy . . . but it works really well.

Yea exactly, i have the older model of this one and I'm really happy with it

M2 m2 is lowered a little bit more than an inch and i have a lot of clearance to put the jack under the car

AC Hydraulic Jacks (No Compromise - Made in Denmark)

You can buy them from Pelican Parts or even Amazon.

Mine is 25 years ago, bought when I bought my first BMW.

I love my QuickJack but I also track my car and do some maintenance on my family's cars. With tracking, I am usually swapping wheels and brakes every 2-3 weeks during the summer months so being able to swap brake pads and wheels in around 60-80 minutes is really nice.

I also have one of the earlier Canadian Tire 3-ton low profile jacks, it works well but is rather heavy. The linked one has a 4" min height, I don't recall what the minimum height is but I'd check first. If I was buying a new jack I would look for a low-profile jack and ideally with a long reach to be able to lift from the center jacking point without needing to resort to additional ramps or multiple step processes. When I work on my brother's Impreza I need to use frame extensions on my QuickJack which then add too much height so I do have to use wood blocks, that's a hassle I'd rather avoid.

I have this one but in an all Aluminum version from Canadian Tire - works great.

On sale now so I'd go for this one, have also used the costco one in the past - both are great.

I have this one and absolutely love it. Less effort to raise the car, and it goes higher than the other Canadian Tire one in this thread (which I also have but no longer use).

You can't go wrong at its current sale price.

Ya this one is good, super long and super heavy. Works well to reach central lift points - I used it on my 135i.

Arcan low profile gets my vote as well. I have been using one for over 5 years without issue.

This one is on sale at Costco right now for $140.

I drive the car up on 2x10s to give me enough ground clearance to get a jack under the center lift near the oil pan.

I jack my M2 all the time - I have a $50 jack I bought at Harbor Frieght Tool 1.5 tons. Works great and although it is not a racing jack they will likely bury me with it in my coffin!
