I disagree! Being of course the sole arbiter of taste and fashion. Other than the needless Bangling of the lower swage line (which gives it a slightly pot-bellied look) the old 1 series has aged really gracefully. I like its happy face compared to the M2's grumpy Gus appearance. That said, I am more and more convinced that my decision to order a mineral grey M2 is 100% correct in terms of colour.
