Yes.. Very tastefully done.

Metrickid, not sure if I missed it, but I noticed in your sig you got the M Performance interior. Was that done already to the car? (If so... any pics? )

Yes, I can snap some pictures later today. It is quite expensive for what it is but it completes the interior in a good way and removes the chrome parts there too.

Why do you change the rims before a Ti exhaust that would give you some real benefits?
I think that it looks awesome already

I hate seeing other colors look this nice

I question my decision on LBB every time I see a MG or AW car.

Metrickid aren't you afraid of damaging your car when it is that lowered? :S I mean hows the roads over where you live? We do both live in Sweden but seriusly in my town the roads are an disaster potholes everywhere, speed bumps higher then any car can handle. Love the MP Coils definitely interested in them when i get my M2, But as with my M235i i don't dare to lower it honestly that's how high risk it is in my town to damage your car :S

It isn't THAT low. I have to go over about 15 speed bumps to go to work an no problems at all. My 335 was even lower and it never scraped. You only have to enter some very steep driveways at an angle, that's about it.

Nice to hear, Unfortunately for me i have already scraped the under side a couple of times and that's when driving on the normal roads, Due do the asphalt have sunken in quite badly and you don't see it before it to late, On some roads for example heading to home the tire tracks on the road has gotten so badly it has reached the gravel, So i have to take alternate roads home.

The speed bumps are ridiculously high in my town already hit the lip once on them they are purposely designed to make it hard for cars to pass cause the retard politicians in this town want people to take the buss so they make it as hard as possible for going around town in a car.

So if you want to keep your car as whole as possible avoid my town trust me i kid you not.

A 'drop' is excluded for mine. Otherwise I will damage the underside of the front bumper in some places. The underside of my 1M bumper got 'shaved' a couple of times by two particularly high/nasty curbs (even at creeping speed + angle approach, I happened to hear that cringing 'slide' noise), that I will avoid to pass in the future.

Reposting this info: ground clearance (from higher to lower):
  • BMW M2 = 123mm or 4.84in (source: here)
  • BMW 1M/M3/M4 = 120mm or 4.72in (sources: here, here and here)
  • Cayman GTS = 112mm or 4.41in (ramp angle: 11.3° | approach angle: 9.2° front and 14.4° rear) (sources: here and here)
  • Cayman GT4 = 105mm or 4.13in (ramp angle: 10.2° | approach angle: 6.0° front and 13.3° rear) (sources: here and here)
And also forget about the M Performance front blades / winglets (if considered).

If it is as bad as you say you have to complain to your local politicians as it must have been built outside of the intended limitations, they can't build anything that normal cars can't drive over without scraping.

Where do you live? I have been driving lowered cars the last 15 years and never had a single issue. And I drive all over Sweden and abroad.

Västerås, It is just as bad i shit you not dude, I have complained plenty of times of the road condition and the speed bumps are to high for cars, They usually reply with some automated answer like "To bad to hear bla bla we will look in to it" and that's about it.

I don't think complaining will do much you just have to avoid certain roads. They pretty much do anything they want they just spent about 45 million sek on buying a run down house to rebuild as offices for their employees and its gonna cost around 350+ million to restore that building and make it possible for people to work in sens its an old industry building and they have to clear the ground and everything that's harmful to humans in the building before they can start to renovate it. Think they are behind on the road maintenance in Västerås around 450-500 million sek.

But enough of stupid political discussion just gonna have to take alternate roads that ain't to run down.

Makes me want to visit Västerås just to have a look!
I googled some and there are a lot of articles about the bad roads in Västerås.

Well if you ever do so remember you have been warned :P If you care anything about your car avoid Västerås at all cost trust me just pass thru along the highway at least then you can be sure your car wont be damaged cause E18 is maintained by the state and not Västerås it self

Yeah, we are talking about a few mm front and rear here and not 15 mm like on the F80/82.
