Totally agree!! Very subjective. If you look at my 911, I should be the last to say anything is kiddish. But I think it's too stubby!?!? Only way to describe it. Like the Cayman GT4, I'm sure it's awesome, I just can't do it 🤷🏻 |

Personally I wanted something Fast, sporty, a bit of luxury and a street sleeper of sorts. I'm also not looking to rack up speeding tickets. I also live in the Boston area and roads are terrible in a lot of areas. I also prefer 2 doors over 4. The other issue is I have kids, they are older but it's not uncommon to have them both hanging out with me. But even with all that said the CS just does it for me. So did the Competition but I liked the CS options overall more. While I appreciate everyone's opinions I'll never understand why people can't look at life from others perspectives. (this is why there's so many options for cars.) My problem with this post is he offered his opinion (looks like a kids car) which is fine but then he added... I just cant imagine anyone over the age of like 35 buying this thing. Perhaps if this was presented as a question? .. I know.. I know..

Y’all are a dangerous bunch. I’m just a few more parts away from my “perfect” F80, and you’re making me consider an M2CS.
Congrats, OP. Those Swiss mountain roads are an incredible driving paradise.

In comparison you'll attract way more people's attention with an M2 than in a 911 XD |

It a huge compliment that the M2 repeatedly gets compared to a Cayman or 911. Those cars are built with less compromises for the road than the M2 yet they don't out-perform the M2 enough to not be compared to it. |

Congrats on the delivery . The M2cs is one nifty little beast
As a tidbit, the M2cs does not get the M4cs seats. The alcantara on the M2cs seats is on the outside of the bolsters while on M4cs seats it is on the inside of the bolsters. The latter makes more sense as the alcantara helps in holding the driver better in the seat while on track. Not sure why they did that for the M2cs seats

Trying to decide if i'll go with a M2CS or G80 at the moment ... I've had the M2 before and i loved it... My initial intent was to go with the G80 but it has a strange face, so i'm not completely used to it... Price wise they are similar, not sure which one is more capable.

Cool car and nice color
Agree that CS could have had better color options

Even my '18 Focus RS sh!tbox has the alcantara paneled for functionality, as do most "sport" coupes. The M4 GTS has it at the inner bolsters also.. why modify it in this way?..🤷*♂️ Was it an approach on tactility and touch point sensations when moving the seat (also on the M2 Comp) or just mix and match for change and blocking sake? I don't get it. |

I know some will argue that Alcantara is easy to clean up and get back up to original condition, just a personal preference |

Best car. I own an M2 Competition and enjoy it so much. Do t even need to drive that fast, the car is quite tactile for a modern car.
If it's a kid car, then great!!! I don't want to drive a grandpa boat. The M brings out the child within us!
