Does freer flowing boost pipe make a difference?

Planning what parts I want for FBO later down the line. I don't have a problem funding a boost pipe change per se but is the OE piece ok? Does it ever fracture like the charge pipe?

Will a higher flow pipe help at all? Whether metal or silicone?

Can't find much or any info about this aspect tbh.

Cheers
