How to know if N55 has diverter valve

I recently got my 2018 OG M2, installed CTS turbo intake and when I let of I get a stutu more than a surge noise. Does this mean I have a diverter valve?
How could I verify if its installed or not

Thanks

The turbo flutter is the airflow that passes through the cold side turbine after you let off.

Yes you do have a diverted valve. It’s located on the turbo itself I believe. It’s a black circular object.

Excuse my misleading question but I’d like to know if I have an upgraded DV installed (GFB, turbosmart, etc).

My ‘18 with the same intake makes the same noise. More pronounced and louder in comfort and “traction”

Stock DV makes sound too, It's easy to identify turbosmart from outside of engine bay since it's a one piece, different shape than stock DV. I think GFB has white letters logo on the side of it to identify too.
