Just be thankful it wasn't the right side radiator, that one is an aux oil cooler, which is potentially bye bye motor..

The radiator has some crimping from road debris but, otherwise, looks like it should be in fine working order. How do you know the radiator does not work?

Because all the coolant leaked out & had to be towed for repair

Oh man, well, that is pretty convincing. . . and sucks!

If you stated that previously and I missed it, my apologies. I was just curious as to how you knew it was not functional.

Since his car is a M2C he doesn't have an oil cooler on the right side like the OG M2

In any case, like you said, could have been a lot worse

I see, I didn't realize he had an M2C, he posted his grieves with the issue, the M2 general section.

And side note, yes; the oil cooler in the M2C is in a more vulnerable location than the M2; dead-center, at lowest point of the vehicle, right in the mist of any potential road hazards.

The oil cooler location on the S55 cars is perhaps the main thing that concerned me when I chose to get a M2C over an OG M2

In the end, I decided the extra cooling efficiency (among other things) was worth it

I've got a Fall Line Motorsport Oil Cooler Guard, but haven't installed it yet

https://ind-distribution.com/collect...l-cooler-guard

Mishimoto also recently came out with what appears to be a stronger oil cooler that I am considering, as well

Did you have to swap the seat control modules and/or airbags from your original seats to get rid of the error codes?
