I have a 2008 128i. Six speed. Love it. I bought it in 2009 with 6k miles on it from a dealer. Question - there are pictures on the steering wheel and settings for hands free calling. Bluetooth is on the radio settings. Yet it is not activated in my car. The dealer says that because it wasn’t activated when it was brand new, it can’t be done now.

If I connect my phone to the aux jack, my phone will run through the sound system.

Is there anyone to activate hands free calling and activate bluetooth?

check if you have module in trunk under the floor, behind rear backrest
if yes, then try to pair phone via bluetooth menu in radio
