FS: MEISTERSCHAFT GT2-OEC - M2 Comp

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
USD 2,000.00

Item Interest
It is time to sell my MEISTERSCHAFT GT2-OEC exhaust from my M2 comp. I decided to go a different route. This exhaust is LOUD but sounds incredible. I also have the gloss black tips. The exhaust was on my car for roughly 1000 miles.

Things to know:
1) Valves were cut out since I thought I heard a rattle from the flaps. The exhaust shop welded on a straight pipe (a short one) on each side to replace the valves. I will include the valves if you would like them welded back in.
2) The exhaust tips are a 9/10 quality wise (from GT Haus). There are some imperfections.
3) The exhaust tips are welded onto the exhaust since I didn't want to see any clamps.

The exhaust comes off my car tomorrow. Feel free to text me at 713-702-0436 and I can send pictures of the actual exhaust.

Price is $2700.

Thanks!

I'm not sure to understand. 3000$ brand new or yours 2700$ who has been modified and removed the valve. Somebody who wants to put the valve back will have to spend about 200-300$ for it.

I personally think that I solved two problems: a rattling valve and clamps that were ugly on the tips. If you do not feel that way, feel free to make an offer that is reasonable to you.

Bump.

May I ask what the cost was to remove the valves? Can a rattling exhaust flap be fixed instead of cut out?

I was charged $200. My problem was that the screws kept backing out of the bracket that supported the valve controller assembly (idk what that part is called). I'm sure some Loctite could solve it but I didn't have the patience. Plus I always had the valves open anyways.

Basically, from my experience, you need a decent amount of pressure from the valve controller on the flap for it not to rattle.

I put the exhaust back on my car since no one wanted it. But yes, it is quite loud.

The exhaust is no longer for sale so this thread can be closed.
