Let's discuss the BMW "M2 CS" rumor: will there be a hardcore M2 variant 2019/2020 ?

Guess why info about the 718 GT4 is posted in this thread.

Come on BMW, Porsche warmly welcomes BMW M customers in its dealerships and the next big economic crisis is only expected to hit in 2020, so move on with the M2 CS.

Those 718 GT4 wheels are so nice. There's gotta be a giant wait in getting a Porsche built though. Making them more unobtainable than a BMW M car, if you wanna order a specific build.

Hopefully M2 CS is less than the price of a Cayman GT4. Cayman GT4 with the PDK will be impressive.

Interesting at 9:40 there is a blue m2 with camo on front lip and rear diffuser. Running blue calipers. I wonder if they are testing a change to next year's M2C.

Probably testing a hybrid version, hence the absence of any sound.

On a second look, though:
The exhaust is different from the M2 Competition. It has the 2 deep grooves that some of the G80 prototypes showed as well.

There is a radio antenna on the trunk. Those tires look like 30s and much bigger than standard M2 size.

I think that's the exhaust we've been seeing on the CS spy shots, but nothing about the rest of the car seems that different. Blue calipers, sun roof, larger front lip, and an oddly camoed diffuser.

My guess is that we'll see it on the next M2, but would certainly be cool if they put it in M2 CS early.

The F87 M2 CS gets the S55 engine. Definitely.

Hello all

The m2cs with a new s58 engine should be something. I see me paying what they want for a m2cs s58.

We suck as people, first we get the competiton, then with the cs on the horizon, it´s not enough any more, then we see a exaust of a s58 platform, my mind is like, ditch the cs, the new one is all you need eheheheh

Waiting for the new gt4 and/or the m2cs, so my mind is all over the place
