How to get brake pressure OBD2 data using iPhone software?

Question for our experts: I have a GoPro, but don't want to plunk down $800+ for the Aim Solo 2. Which software do you guys use to pull OBD2 data? I used both Harry's andtTrackAddict in the past, and my only complaint is that I couldn't get them to read the brake pressure data. Looking to use an overlay solution like RaceRender to combine data and video, and my only requirement is that I want both the throttle AND brake pedal info displayed on the overlay. Thoughts?

OBD2 does provide additional data (lat/lon g forces, wheel speed, etc.) but I believe that some data is only available through a direct connection the the ecu. I believe brake pressure is one of those data attributes.

I have been using an AIM solo 2 DL (connected through OBD2 only) for a few years and do not get data points for brake pressure, throttle pressure, etc.

Someone correct me if I am wrong.

Hey dvas Thanks for the response and I have seen your videos in the past. Thanks for sharing those.

I thought the OBD2 does give you brake pressure and throttle pedal position even via the DL Aim Solo 2, but there is mapping you need to do to get to the right parameter. I just saw a three on this the other day.

The issue is nobody has been able to decode brake pressure from the CAN bus.
..I tried with my E92M3 using a DL Aim Solo 2 with direct bus connection.

You get a ton of data with a direct connection but brake pressure is not one of them.

I did hear that someone was able to get a quasi logic algorithm to work using the brake switch and decel data points with an Aim Solo .
I didn't try it myself though...

According to the post above, brake pressure is available on the CAN bus:

Brake pressure ID: 239 Offset: 2 Length: 2
