Should I sell my 330i (g20) to go for an m?

Hi fellow bimmers.

A guy is offering for my 330i (2019) Pack M full extras 45k €,and I could get an M2 2016 for 53k € with Akrapovich exhaust and a nice M Performance diffuser. I know the engine comes with N55. Would it be worth the upgrade from a b48 to this engine and having a less styled interior or should I save for a year or two and get the competition which is around 60k?

Also I am going to be a father soon,so not sure if M2 OG could be comfortable.

If you're going to be a father soon maybe the m340i or m3 might be better? M2 has pretty spacious back seat but it's probably still a pain to put infants back there. Besides that the upgrade is worth it. It's a different experience

I’ve looked into M3 but don’t like the handling of it. Most of the car use it will be for weekend drives…So I was thinking on the M2’s handling and being safer to drive than a M3.

An m340i is out of my price league.

Get the M2. Completely different experience than a 4 cyclinder BMW.

I daily drive my M2 and have driven it on long trips. It is a comfortable ride but probably stiffer ride than your 330i.
