Anyone have this issue that your Bluetooth music volume is significantly quieter than the radio? I've checked to make sure my phone volume is maxed and unlinked and relinked my phone but there's still a volume difference.

Are you talking about regular radio or XM satellite radio? My XM radio is WAY louder than the other audio sources, but compared to each other, the other sources are about the same - regular radio, carplay via bluetooth, or USB drive.

ive noticed this as well.. and just overall, i dont think the 2 series gets a great stereo setup. the f30 i had a few years ago was way ahead of what's in my 2020 2 series.
i think you can upgrade/swap the speakers easily, but i haven't heard the upgrades in person or read enough to be convinced they're worth it |

Yep. Connected via only Bluetooth my Spotify via iDrive (not Carplay) is significantly quieter.

Yeah, I think it's some hearing protection thing that has to be programmed into cellphones now.
Supposed to be for headphones and what not. |
