If I decided to add the CS rear spoiler (pre-preg version) before this item were to ship, what additional shipping costs would I incur ? In other words, could shipping be combined and both items ship within a single box ?

No additional cost for shipping the spoiler with it.

Great, thank you. Pre-ordered the front spoiler and placed the order for the CS spoiler (pre-preg version) .

So are we not doing the US "group buy" then?

I pre-purchased (good exchange rate) but this shouldn't be a problem unless it comes time to ship and there are not enough orders. With a down market, job situation and other factors at play, I can't speak for others if their still in or not. Then we have the issue of 2 shipments (assuming I understand this GB). An order of 10 (or more) to a member then yet another shipment to each individual member. Might be a total hassle .. Not so much a matter of shipment weight, but dimensions (large box).

TLDR: I'm still in ...

Another thing to consider is if they get shipped in a bulk box all together. Then the USA receiving person will have to repackage each lip individually for everyone before shipping them. Which is another hassle/expense in shipping supplies and repackaging. Maybe that's what you were getting at.

Yes, exactly where I was going. As Jack suggested, take advantage of the exchange rate if you can. If you can't then I truly hope that once things have settled down, a GB (USA) could be assembled to help offset the shipping cost.

I was also thinking that people in the same region could split. For example if there are 3-4 of us within reasonable distance in texas, could cut the shipping price pretty significantly and just meet somewhere central.

Hey everyone.

Sorry for the delay in coming back to you. This week has been a little hectic here in the UK.

So we haven’t yet been successful in being able to distribute our lips in the US. So a group buy looks to be the best solution at the moment.

If you’re able to get 4(or more!) people together, we will make the process as easy as possible for the person willing to handle logistics.

If you’d like to nominate yourself to receive the items, that would be awesome.

Btw, fitted pics to be uploaded later today.

Fitted Photos

Here you go guys. Latest sample finished and fitted.

Couple of revisions still needed but we'll get to work on those. Still aiming for the April deadline despite COVID....

Don't forget, first 20 pre-orders receive a really smart TRE Edition M2 illustration we had commissioned for this special project.

Damn. That gap between the side wing and the bumper is pretty tight. Gonna be difficult to clean between there

It's about 12mm each side IRL. Should be okay!

You're gonna hate me (unless this is one of the revisions you already plan on making) but I thought we all agreed the winglets would match the M Performance shape? They seem to match that in the earlier photos you posted. Other than that, I'm happy with everything else.

Can use a soapy microfiber to "floss it"

That's exactly what I do on the side winglets and they are more difficult since you don't have good access to the back end.

Thanks for the pictures and effort, but I'll have to agree with Anthony.

Going back to look at the other photos and the video Jack posted, that angle seems to be more pronounced before but now it's smoothed out?
I'm really hoping this is just the picture angle or something.

Where did this angle go?

Also, want you guys to know I am considering purchasing 6 lips. Keeping one for myself and selling 5 here for the USA. I messaged Jack for a quote to get them shipped to me and will write up a draft with pricing and terms to you guys after I get an answer.

A couple things I have on my mind right now. I would like to make $40-50 profit per lip. I think that's more than fair for the time I'd spend organizing this, inspecting each lip I get, the risk/hassle/expense I take on if having to return any that aren't perfect, the risk of not selling all that I order, the time it takes me to to purchase shipping materials and communicate with buyers and to pack/ship to them, etc.

I will publish a list of costs to me. Shipping supplies, etc. And will charge actual shipping costs.

One additional cost to me... I would be selling cryptocurrency to pay for this order, so the fee from that would add ~$14 per lip.

To get rid of that cost, I could take preorders from you guys. So I have the capital to make the purchase. But I am not sure I want to go that route.

I also don't want to be a permanent distributor of these lips. (buying more as there is demand for more) Because the cryptocurrency market is down 65% right now. I would like to get in/out of these lips asap, so I can buy back my cryptocurrency investment before the price goes back up.

These are things I have on my mind right now. And is all open for comments from you guys. And if the group buy turns out to be the better option, I have no problem participating in that.
