Evolution Racewerks Catted M3/M4/M2 Comp Downpipe
I installed the ER S55 downpipes yesterday, it was a perfect fit just as expected from Evolution Racewerks. These pipes look so good, I felt bad installing them

We installed the downpipe on an M4, not M2 Competition.

Oh my, those are absolutely gorgeous. Do high flow cats require a tune, or can the stock ECU account for them? Seems that the stock stuff is pretty good at adjusting.

There is always the possibility of a CEL without a tune, but the car runs without any issues.

I had the new Wagner 200 Cel DP's installed a few weeks ago. They threw the P0420 code within 2 hrs of driving time. I have a AK Motion Display where I was able to use the Delete R function to eliminate further Check Engine lights..
I will be getting an ECUTEK tune before track season as well. Its an expensive mod, but I've found on turbo cars they make good power especially higher up in the revs. The other benefit is I'll be able to pass a sniffer test if and when its needed.

Yes the M2 Comp, M3 & M4 use the same downpipe. Expect 25-30 whp with a tune

For less than $400 its great. I thought I might not like giving up a Vent, but it hasn't bothered me at all. Plenty of A/C etc...
It controls the exhaust flaps (have mine set open at start) Delete R has eliminated my P0420 codes the Wagner HFC"s have created. It reads all the engine codes and will clear them. No need for a scanner. Lots of customization as well. Boost gauge, and a ton of other readings. You can turn it off anytime, and even lock the car out using a PIN. No one will be able to start it w/o the PIN. It's not a sexy as the AWRON unit (which I believe is not being sold anymore?) but I'm happy I got it.. HTH, HAZMAT

I had a tech at my BMW store do it. Looked pretty easy, but the directions are in German!
