02-23-2019: Stage 0+ CS and Stage 1 Dyno Results:
100% stock hardware with no physical mods 93 Octane Three medium fans with one directly in front of the intercooler Closed hood I tested the car in a different shop that has a better Dyno facility. Still suboptimal testing conditions of 88+ degrees and high humidity but better cooling fans this time. CS Map (full adaptation): 428.54 WHP 436.05 WTQ Stage 1 Map (only two pulls of adaptation): 464.63 WHP 498.59 WTQ Hope this helps some of you! Last edited by Kelvin1000; 02-23-2019 at 02:59 PM.. |

It was an incredibly simple and intuitive process and only took me about 15 minutes from start to finish to register the license and get the software system up and running on the laptop. Flashing it for the first time took about 5 minutes because it has to open up the ECU. After that, it flashes the maps in less than 1 minute. Now the car pulls much harder all the way to redline with the CS map and actually feels a lot like a naturally aspirated high revving engine. It truly transforms the car. Other benefits are that gear shifts are smoother (particularly first to second gear) and I find that the exhaust is also a bit more aggressive. Overall, I couldn't be happier so far with the Boostmod3 setup and easy of use. Light years ahead of other bench flashes and piggybacks in my opinion. I will go back to the dyno in the next couple of days to try out the CS map and probably the Stage 1 map. |

Nice one.
I bought BM3 10 days ago, still not had time to use it... too much work and too many chores and stuff to do! This weekend hopefully try the CS map. |

Looks like stock gets its max power later in the rev range than the other two maps. (edited because auto correct...) |

https://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1542700 also check page 5 for explanation. Also in the example like like real CS is the OEM CS tune, and CS is now named CS+. |

Excellent results on the cs map! I bet the car feels much faster. Although interesting that the stock m2c map peaks higher. Does the CS map feels as linear as the m2c map?
I’d love to see results with 1.5-2 gallons of e85 in the tank to make sure full timing is being hit and to offset the Florida heat. |
