Happy new year to you too👍🏻

Exactly, so I canít see a reason for them not to use bm3 considering they are listed as a custom tuner too.

How high was your ambient temp?

A water methanol injection works very nice on the M2s and will give you a nice bump in power.

Slightly different ambient temps/pressure will effect but not a bad result for half a bottle of boostane to a tank of 99RON - 410/605 power/torque jumps to 427/643

Can you share the engine logs? What was different between the runs with and without booster? Timing and/or boost? Was it running the same tune?

Bee Pee, thanks for sharing I mean it.

But I really hate all these random dyno graphs posted by some random ignorant. This 410hp->427hp show what octane can change but all it tells is a 4% hp improvement from the octane. It'd be the same thing to show 310hp->323hp, except that they would have no one come to rave about the numbers.

It's been almost 3 years. Still very few people post before and after result, no mention of it being back to back pulls.

Sorry I can't post logs as this is not my car. Perhaps you can ask the owner via FB ?

Sean

Cheers & noted re 4% bump in peak power. My observations between MHD stg2 / 99RON to stg2+/99RON + Boostane on the same car are:-

- a useful bump in torque;
- far more consistent curve shapes for both power and torque;
- good gains throughout are evident by significant increase in areas under both power/torque.

Hi folks,

Would someone be willing to honestly share your opinion so far with MHD stage2+ tune, and did you run it on track without any issue?

If there were any issue so far with this tune, how did you sort them?

I'm strongly considering to go with MHD due to flashing practicality compared with bootmod3.

Honestly, I got bit scared how many people had issue with initial car flashing and so many agent/software updates.

As, who wants to be stuck in the garage underground without wifi connection.

Maybe I'm mistaking regard bootmod3 but anyway any experience would be more than welcome.

I just loaded stage 2+ 98oct fbo, pure entry, miltek dcel 200cel, charge pipe and boost pipe ftp, intercooler do88 and it works very well and smooth power delivery, the only thing weird is that in comfort mode and sport mode, does not mute the exhaust sound like in stock

As most android phones are USB-C, has anyone used a converter from micro-USB?

All you need is on OTG cable or converter adapter. Search Amazon.

You have plenty OTG USBC and OTG MicroUSB adapters on Amazon.
Just donít stack two adapters in row, this does not work.

Today's update brings many nice things to the MHD F+G Series users:
--------------------------------------------
- N55 EWG: added full e85 Stager 1 and 2 maps.
- N55 / B58 / N13 : added coolant flash option (Performance and Track).
- N55 / N13 / M2 N55 : added start up roar (noticeable with cold start deactivated).
- B58: allow burble on OPF cars.
- Full M3/M4 CS and M2C support, including OPF delete option
- Added CS / GTS trans flash for M2 N55, M2C, M3, M4
- various fixes for Burble and exhaust flap open on sport.
--------------------------------------------
The Stage 1 and 2 full e85 maps for N55 EWG will produce a relatively flat torque, with max power near redline. With those maps no need to mix every fill up! And they are the most powerful Stage 1 and 2 maps. No 2+ full e85 map is doable due to fueling limitations.
--------------------------------------------
Another nice feature for N55, B58 and N13 cars: We found a way to bring the M switchable coolant feature to non-M cars. With the coolant flash option activated, the coolant target will be 95c in eco / comfort instead of 106c+. If you switch to sport mode (or comfort + transmission in S or M), the coolant target will be 85c with performance or 80c with track option selected. This allows the engine to run cooler and oil temperature will also benefit from that significantly. We also changed many fan settings to further improve how quick the system reacts to the different modes, this also helps to reduce the IAT and under hood temps when staging at a drag strip or slow city driving.
--------------------------------------------
The M3, M4, M2 N55 and M2 Competition owners now have the much anticipated CS & GTS TCU flash available through MHD (M2C only CS) - this is a free update included in the Flasher License.
--------------------------------------------
We also added full support for recent euro spec S55 cars equipped with a OPF / GPF (plus delete option)

Today I mapped my GTS TCU for my car, N55 M2. Then my instrumental panel which initially showed D1 now changed to C1. Even when I converted to sports plus, my car changes shift during low RPM. Also when I accelerate, my down shift doesn't work. I feel like original comfort mode is way faster and better. So I changed it back to stock map. How should I fix this problem?

I have a Wagner catted DP and IC and BMS intake on my M2 LCI and just flashed the 98RON Stage 2+ tune on the car today. I've only driven it short distances and not WOT yet due to traffic. I'll get to test it out on a long drive tomorrow.

I also have a JB4 attached but it is on Map 0, which I am only using on my iPhone for the gauges.

Are other Australian cars here ok on the 98RON tune (I always fill BP Ultimate 98) or are you using 95RON tune?
