Hey guys!! I'm super excited. I've got my plane ticket to go pick up my 2017 Long Beach Blue 6MT M2 on Saturday from BMW of Orland Park outside Chicago. Gonna make the trip back to Maryland same day. It's going to be a blast.

Edit: I picked her up today. I'm absolutely smitten. The DSC exhaust Easter egg is incredible.

It's always exciting to see someone pick up a car at a store that is somewhat ocal. However , why did you come to Orland Park for this car ?

Miles, transmission, color, and amount of warranty left. This one ticked my boxes. There were a couple on the west coast but I just moved from the west coast to the east, want about to do that whole drive again.

I think there's a stickied thread in the engine forum. You press the DSC button once in comfort mode and the exhaust sounds changes. Go try it out on your lunch, you'll thank me.

I think there's a stickied thread in the engine forum. You press the DSC button once in comfort mode and the exhaust sounds changes. Go try it out on your lunch, you'll thank me.

I think you're referring to MDM mode, where DSC is less intervening, but not the same as full DSC OFF. One of the effects of this is the added exhaust burbles, and they sound even more aggressive than Sport mode.

LOL, I'll give it a shot, but my car has the MPE, so results may vary.

congrats...the 2017s seem to be the price value with low mileage and the 2017 upgrades.

Congrats!! I'm new-ish to the club as well with a nearly identical car. Bought a '17 LBB mt with the Dinan S1 package back at the end of July.

As others have said, it's an absolutely amazing car that keeps on delivering smiles. And yes, the "mod bug" hits quick and hard.

Absolutely. This thing is loaded and only had 22k miles at delivery. Has the newer iDrive than my F30, heated steering wheel, lane departure warning, forward collision assist or whatever it's called, comfort access, WiFi hotspot... I'm loving it every day. I took around town in it when I run errands and drive the F30 to work. My commute is so short that the F30 (N26) is easier to warm up to operating temp than the M would be.

i would look into downloading bimmer code and do some of the basic coding like 100% brightness on the halos, folding the mirrors on lock and unlock..etc. But its a great car...its one of the reasons i came back to BMW.
