It seems like the GTS would stomp all the rivals in terms of handling and performance. It's still an SUV, but you won't think it is at times. You'll have to be going against something that can pull over 1G lateral to find the turning limits. I'm not a big proponent of SUVs...but if I had to...

We have a guy that shows up in a Macan Turbo S for autocross and it's damn impressive. It's similar to the Tesla thing, where the turning isn't great, but it can point to point with so much acceleration that it more than makes up for it. It's not crappy at turning either, just not maita-like obviously.
The Macan Turbo S doesn't exist, but it should!

My parents have a 2019 Macan S in their stable. Only 8500 miles so can't speak to reliability, but I drive it quite frequently. It's a true pleasure to drive. I love the tight and feedback rich steering. Handling is sport-sedan like until you get to 8/10s the limit, which is when it sort of understeers and feels its weight. Build quality is typical German solid. Personally I find the rear legroom to be adequate.

Interior ergonomics are a par below BMW. The wireless Apple CarPlay takes a little longer to connect than I'd like. Drinks gas like no tomorrow. All minor quabbles. Alongside the Stelvio, it's about as fun-to-drive a CUV can get.

My folks WFH now so the Macan sits around gathering dust, I think my dad could be convinced to sell. It is Miami Blue which isn't for everyone. DM me if you're interested.

I'd tune the Stelvio and save a bag of cash.

As Al said, holy crap indeed.

Might as well get a F355 lol.

Man, if Macans are considered smallish these days. I saw one parked up behind my car, that thing is freaking huge to me, never mind the Cayenne. Wowsers.

I can't shake the feeling you're gonna drop net 35K to get some extra HP and less space (Macan is a very awkward size imho). Plus every arsehole has a Porsche, the alfa looks like it wants to pleasure you every time you look at it.

The alfa is nice but it doesnt have the paddles for me to shift it myself, and it shifts itself too quick through the gears.
if i had a QF i wouldnt have posted this lol.

i wish the seats were more bolstered and better interior feel (but i dont hate it, just wish it was 'more')

Apple carplay is by cable only not bluetooth, which isnt horrible but it is annoying.

Plus I like the feel of a turbo 6 more than the turbo 4

Each to his own but you're price delta is 60% of the way to a sorted 997 in the garage instead.

Just sayin.

Well, the goal in a few years after the M3 Comp is a 992 911 Cs if I can.

Macan wise it wont be new, but lightly used. So not full price wise
