I think it's real carbon, but it's an overlay kit, so essentially a giant carbon sticker. A wrap would make more sense though.

Manufacturing is cheap in China so I'm sure he sent it off to be made... might be hard for you to buy directly. They might have made molds though.

Also this particular carbon has what looks like a ton of resin so I'm not sure how much, if any, weight is saved...

There is such a thing as too much carbon imo.

Carbon doors are great, but a bad idea on a street car imo.

yup looks like overlays. which is why they needed the car to make moulds and then stick them on. notice the roof rails are at lower depth than the rest of the car.

Not to say this isn't an overlay or wrap, but the roof rails are like that on all M2. And the bodyline gaps seems to be a bit too large to be an overlay of carbon.
